Photographer Teri Bloom started her career in New York’s East Village capturing icons of the 1980s music scene. And like many photographers whose early works predate the digital age, getting some her most valuable photographs registered so many years later looked like a daunting task. But she recently wrote this wonderful and kind endorsement of our services.
From Teri Bloom:
Because the process of copyright registration was onerous for so many years, I never copyrighted my stock photography collection. Scanning film was difficult because I didn’t know Photoshop well enough, Excel spreadsheets intimidated me and I was too busy making a living to deal with these challenges.
Then in 2024, all this changed! Scanning film became easier with new technology AND I was introduced RightsClick! My copyrighting challenges had suddenly evaporated — and Rights Click became my copyright angel!
Their video tutorials were great and very quickly I started copyrighting images. Aside from the software functioning so smoothly, the team seems to be available almost 24/7. Support tickets are usually answered within a few hours which is unheard of. Plus I can easily view the registration status and details of all submitted images.
All I can say is “Hallelujah” for RightsClick and the team’s kindness and generosity. Copyrighting and protecting my images is now super easy, and am so grateful for RightsClick for this reason!
Remember that a work may be registered any time during the term of copyright, which is life of the author plus 70 years for any work created after January 1, 1978. For older works and older works that were once published, there are some rules to understand, and we wrote a blog post to explain those basics.
